This small locally owned inn, snuggly nestled into a windy hilltop, is a delicious discovery.

Just three minutes from the famed Cane Garden Bay beach, Heritage Inn in Tortola offers a private getaway with well appointed one and two bedroom suites, and a fresh water pool.

The on site Bananakeet Cafe features Caribbean fusion dishes created by Grenadian chef W. Mitchell known as” Spice.”

He’s come up with some great signatures dishes over the years, like coconut rum shrimp, jerk grilled pork loin with banana chutney, and herb encrusted rack of lamb, seasoned with fresh grown herbs.

He also preprares a killer Ahi tuna!

The restaurant offers stunning views of Carrot Bay and neighboring Jost Van Dyk, bays and cays. Sunsets are sublime.

This spot is a great choice for anyone who wants an authentic island experience, right down the legendary local music and clientele.

There’s also the on site Catch n Keep Boutique, a shopping destination in its own right. Owner Christina Washburn buys really cool and colorful clothing, accessories, and gifts from Caribbean designers, artists and artisans, and some world neighbors too.
